With a primary focus on the acute and managed care sectors, Ms. Poindexter has provided a broad spectrum of strategic capital markets, merger and acquisition, and real estate advisory services to providers and payors nationwide.
Ms. Poindexter has over twenty years of experience in investment banking, including corporate and municipal finance and mergers and acquisitions. With a primary focus on the acute and managed care sectors, Ms. Poindexter has provided a broad spectrum of strategic, capital markets, merger and acquisition, and real estate advisory services to providers and payors nationwide. She has recently completed engagements for Casa Grande Regional Medical Center (AZ), Life and Specialty Ventures (AR), Maryland Physicians Care, ProHealth Care (WI), Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (IL), Rockford Health System (IL), Southern Illinois Healthcare, and Trinity Health (MI).
Prior to the formation of Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC (also known as H2C), she spent fifteen years with Shattuck Hammond Partners (acquired by Morgan Keegan & Company in 2007), becoming an equity partner in 2001 and serving on the management committee. Ms. Poindexter began her investment banking career in the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Group of PaineWebber Incorporated, and subsequently joined the Public Finance Health Care Group, where she led the Group’s mergers and acquisitions practice.
Ms. Poindexter received her M.B.A. (with distinction) and B.S. (magna cum laude) from New York University, Stern School of Business. A former ballet dancer, she continues to support dance as Board Treasurer for SPDW Dance Theatre and as an executive committee member of the Women’s Board of The Joffrey Ballet. She is a frequent speaker to healthcare industry groups on topics such as capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
